Coffee and cocktails

Good things start over coffee or cocktails and in this case a collaboration was cultivated over multiple espressos, lattes, wine, and a margarita to round it out. needless to say, combining creative minds is a task that is often too abstract to produce anything real. I have been writing my blog for the past three years. It's taught me a great deal about self-managed PR and marketing, introduced me to a new world of thinkers, and even helped me get a few jobs along the way, but it's also something that I felt needed to grow and mature as I grew and my business goals grew. Sometimes a step out of the comfort zone is the push it takes to get exhilarated about a new topic and in this case, the graduation from my comfortable blog, that has opened a world of new experiences, has become the stepping stone for something that is unknown, but incredibly intriguing.

So back to these coffees and cocktails I mentioned. Collaborations are born from common interests and after working with Heather, the other half to this space, we knew that we were cultivating something new, ever-maturing, and had the ability to selfishly fulfill our need to be creative. Here we go with that abstract thinking I mentioned earlier, but truly all of those working coffee breaks led to a space for us to share our stories about lifestyle, photography, entertaining, design, travel, and a myriad of topics that design a life and make it exciting. That hostess with the impeccable manners, photographer with the sharpest of eyes, friend with a lustworthy home, acquaintance with the wardrobe of dreams, home chef with spot on taste, and artist with the ability to create endlessly are the people who inspire us.
